Top interior trends to look out for in 2023

We asked the interior designer and style expert about the top trends for next year.

Whether it's Lavender Cream or Deep Green Lake, there are no limits when it comes to your personal color preferences. Some people opt for more subdued tones, while others prefer something a bit livelier. One thing's clear: You can achieve a great deal by having a flash of color in the right place. This trend may be down to the numerous crises we are facing around the world at the moment and therefore the need to turn our home into an oasis of happiness.

Naturalness and sustainability are in vogue when it comes to interior design – a fashion that can confidently be described as a megatrend. This trend has developed into a cornerstone of interior design – one that influences many different styles. The focus on natural materials is particularly clear in the case of wood. Untreated wood surfaces exude naturalness and sustainability, and will give any room a cozy atmosphere.

Straight lines are out. But that doesn't mean you need to sell your dining table or lowboard. On the contrary, rounded objects and curves can be used to complement existing furnishings in a contemporary way and provide a beautiful contrast to angular furniture. Curves have the power to enhance the esthetic value of simple living spaces, lending warmth and creating a comfortable, feel-good effect.

A single color is beautiful, but using patterns to highlight objects enables you to add a crucial touch. It could be a classic design on a floor tile or a pattern in the fabric of a chair, a hamam towel hanging in the bathroom, or a patchwork pattern on a throw in the living room. But, as always, don't forget that less is more!
